We all love that hour before the sunset. That golden light. Uhg. It's just invigorating. And when that light washes over you, it's like you feel a sense of joy, energy and strength. Like your being recharged or something.

It is something we can look forward to everyday and appreciate. Without the sun what would happen?! Have you ever thought of that? When was the last time you let yourself bask in that warmth and felt gratitude for the sun. And I don't mean laying at the beach and tanning.. I mean really feeling grateful for it.

In a world where we are constantly on our phones peering into other peoples lives, it's easy to forget life's wonderful slideshow of nature. Displaying it's beauty for all to see, every day. I challenge you to get your self out to a beach, let your bare feet touch the sand and soak up that tangerine sky.

I got to tell ya. I felt an overwhelm of gratitude last week as I photographed this beauty during golden hour. The dress was perfect. Her hair was perfect. The location was perfect... Ok ok ok.. everything was perfect! I felt totally in my element. I had the vision I wanted and we totally nailed it. Hands down my favorite session.

I have been dreaming of that perfect light for so long and finally got to capture a session exactly as I envisioned it. With a big thank you to my amazing model Katie for just going with it and also allowing me to be creative! And can you believe she isn't a model?? Ya me either. She damn sure, should be!
